The cozy game is part of version 1.1, which requires iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. Choose a Shiba, Husky or Pug companion, customize its appearance, give it a name and save. Other profile details can be added later. From Home, play with your companion or choose Decorate. Adventure sends it exploring; Collection holds furniture, artifacts and achievements.

If you are using version 1.0, you can already create dog profiles and keep care records. Your existing profiles, photos and records remain in Care Journal when you update.

In version 1.1, open Journal for Care Journal. Select your dog, then add a stool record or browse History and Reports. Enter color and consistency, and add a photo, amount in grams, odor and notes when you have those observations. Photos and amount are optional.

The journal records observations and does not diagnose illness or analyze photos with AI. Your dog’s health measurements do not affect adventure results.

Send one companion to an unlocked area. Each completed 60-second round earns Coins and XP, using the same calculation while the app is open or closed. An expedition collects up to eight hours of progress. Tap Claim & Return to receive the rewards and bring your companion home.

New areas unlock at levels 5 and 10. Artifacts unlock after the round milestones shown in Collection, and you can equip one at a time. There is no permanent pet loss or penalty for being away. Changing device time does not provide unlimited progress.

Buy furniture with earned Coins in Collection, then open Home → Decorate. Select an owned item and choose a floor tile. Rotate it or return it to storage when needed. The preview helps you avoid overlaps and blocked paths. Tap Save to keep your layout, or Cancel to discard the current edits.

Yes. Open the gear button for Settings → Add a companion. Select the relevant dog before viewing its journal or starting an adventure. Each dog has its own level, appearance and care records. Coins, furniture and the home are shared. Only one expedition can be active at a time.

The first newly saved care record for each dog each local day gives 10 Coins and 5 XP. Editing a record, or deleting it and creating another, does not repeat that day’s bonus. The three daily goals are to pet your companion, claim an expedition and use the ball at home. You can claim each daily reward once.

Enter a known amount in grams greater than zero; decimals are supported. Leave it blank if you do not know the amount. Sniffin does not estimate weight from photos. Profile weight and height are your latest entered values, not a growth history.

The app requests camera access when you choose Take photo on a device with a camera. If access was denied, review Sniffin’s camera permission in your device’s Settings. You can still use the system photo picker or save without a photo.

If a photo cannot load, try selecting it again. A photo stored in iCloud may need to be downloaded by the system first. Sniffin does not change or delete the original in your photo library. The 3D world does not use AR or activate the camera.

The game and journal work offline without an account. Profiles, photos, records and game progress are stored on your device; there is no cross-device sync. Depending on your settings, iOS/iPadOS backups in iCloud or on a computer may include app data.

We do not hold a server copy, so we cannot recover your data from a developer service. Read the privacy policy.

Open Settings using the gear button. Choose English or Thai, and turn sound effects and haptics on or off. Sniffin also follows the device’s Dark Mode and Reduce Motion settings. The 3D character is a stylized companion; its appearance is independent of real breed and health measurements.

Open a record from Journal history to edit it, or choose Delete record and confirm. To remove an attachment, open the editor, choose Remove photo, then save. The original in your photo library stays intact.
